Message from the Department Head

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is devoted to the preparation of master educators for public, private, and governmental institutions. Graduates are prepared to serve as directors of instruction and curriculum, subject matter specialists, supervisors of student teaching and college professors of curriculum and instruction. The Annual Don & Sarrah Kidd Literacy Conference is being co-sponsored as the NMSU College of Education Symposium by the W.K.Kellogg Foundation and Don and Sarrah Kidd with an expanded slate of speakers – it’s going to be a great conference!
